Class description

In this course you will learn about more detailed practical acting techniques, such as character work and improvisation, with an additional focus on devising, embodiment and physical theatre. Devising means creating a performance from scratch. Throughout the term we will be putting together our own show based on the characters, scenes and themes that come up through our improvisations and exercises during the sessions. The term will culminate in a live performance in front of an invited audience of family and friends. This course is suitable for those who have some acting experience and wish to develop their skills further, and the class size is approximately 18 people. The course consists of 8 sessions plus one longer session of 4 hours on the day of the end show.

If you have any special requirements or needs, please let us know before the course starts so we can prepare accordingly.
